Getting Started

Process Overview

The Schools and Libraries Program process is different for service providers and applicants. By visiting each step in the process on the website, you’ll find in-depth information regarding what needs to be completed in each step as well as information about what to do before you begin the process and things to consider after you’ve completed all of the steps.

We have also developed a process flow chart for both applicants and for service providers that shows you, from beginning to end in a quick overview, what you can expect through each step of the process including letters of receipt you’ll receive in the mail from USAC, and forms that need to be filled out. Each process chart also shows you what is happening on the other side of the aisle as well.
