Conference Call Etiquette

Those who put the conference call on hold and have either music or advertisements, will be disconnected from the conference call. Repeat offenders will be removed from the listserv.

(1) Please USE YOUR MUTE BUTTON if you are not asking a question on the call; with the large number of call-ins this should cut down on the background interference noise.
(2) If you don't have a mute button, hit *6 which acts as a mute.
(3) Please be sure to mute your phone in one of the above ways if you are using a cell phone.
(4) If you have music on hold, please do NOT put the conference call on hold.
(5) Please be courteous to others on the phone; try to listen to questions as they may be relevant to you at some point.
(6) Please avoid side conversations, which can be picked up by your phone's microphone.
(7) Please let John know if you have trouble with the connection, so he can try to reach the operator.
