Making Payments

Non-USAC Payments

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has the authority to levy additional collection charges, penalties, and interest on balances owed. USAC cannot accept payments on behalf of the FCC for these balances.

If a company receives an invoice from the FCC for any balances owed, the payment must be made payable to the FCC and mailed to the address on the FCC's invoice.

Individual State Universal Service Payments

Your state may run its own state universal service program. This is not part of the federal universal service fund that is overseen by the Federal Communications Commission and administered by USAC.

You should see your state regulatory commission website for information about the state's universal service program.
