As the administrator for the federal universal service fund (USF), USAC routinely monitors and reviews the data as submitted by carriers to look for potential errors, or to identify large changes in company revenues.
USAC will use revenues as certified by the Company Officer, but may contact carriers via email or telephone to request additional information or supporting documentation in accordance with the FCC Forms 499-A/Q instructions.
If USAC considers a question to be outstanding on a certain FCC Form 499-A/Q, the E-File system will reflect a status of “Issue – Carrier Response Required.”
