USAC Committees

Audit Committee
The Audit Committee consists of five members: a representative from each of the three programmatic committees and two at-large Board members, the later two preferably with financial, auditing, and/or accounting experience.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consists of up to ten USAC Board members: the Chair of the Audit Committee, the Chair of the High Cost and Low Income Committee, the Chair of the Rural Health Care Committee, the Chair of the Schools and Libraries Committee, the Chair of the USAC Board, the Vice-Chair of the USAC Board, the Secretary of the USAC Board, the Treasurer of the USAC Board, the most recent past Chair of the USAC Board, and USAC's chief executive officer.

High Cost/Low Income Committee
The High Cost & Low Income Committee consists of nine USAC Board members, including two ILEC representatives (one representing rural telephone companies and one representing non-rural telephone companies), one interexchange carrier representative, one wireless representative, one competitive carrier representative, one low income representative, one state consumer advocate representative, one state telecommunications regulator representative, and USAC's chief executive officer.

Rural Health Care Committee
The Rural Health Care Committee consists of eight USAC Board members, including two rural health care provider representatives, one service provider representative, two at-large representatives elected by the Board, one state telecommunications regulator, one state consumer advocate, and USAC's chief executive officer.

Schools and Libraries Committee
The Schools & Libraries Committee consists of seven USAC Board members, including three school representatives, one library representative, one service provider representative, one at-large representative elected by the Board, and USAC's chief executive officer.
